Our Location

Grace CDC is located on the lower floor of the Asbury Building, which is just across the parking lot by the playground visible from Georgia Avenue. Our small facility helps provide a warm, nurturing environment for young children. 

Our History

Our program started over forty years ago, beginning with Children’s Day Out and then expanding to offer preschool and kindergarten classes. These programs continue to be offered at Grace, with over 150 students enrolled. Grace CDC is open to all children in the community, not just to Grace United Methodist Church members. 

Our Mission

The mission of Grace Child Development Center is to provide all children the opportunity to grow emotionally, spiritually, physically, and academically through activities which strengthen their minds, bodies, and love of God.

  • Children's Day Out

    • Classes for Infants, Toddlers, 2-year-olds
    • Can attend multiple classes (e.g., M/Th class AND Wed Class)
    • Several options for each age - see "Forms & Calendars" for detailed class list

  • Preschool

    • 3K Classes offered 2, 3, or 5 days/week
    • 4K Classes offered 3 or 5 days/week
    • 3K & 4K classes held 9:00 – 12:00
    • Students attend computer lab, music class, and science class weekly
    • 4K students attend chapel weekly

  • 5K

    • Class held M-F, 8:30 – 12:30
    • Smart Board used in classroom
    • Attends computer lab, music class, science lab,and chapel weekly
    • Presents the Nativity Program for 4K students and parents of 4K & 5K

  • Early Care & Lunch Bunch

    • Both programs on drop-in basis
    • Early Care for 3K – 5K, 8:00 – 9:00,  M-F
    • Lunch Bunch for 3K – 5K, 12:00 – 1:00, M-Th
