Sanctuary Music

Wesley Singers Director: Suzanne Fowley             Pianist: Laura D. Lusk

This opportunity is for children in first through fifth grades that would like to participate and learn the joys of praising God through singing. The Wesley Singers are involved in the Traditional service and Lifesong throughout the year. The children begin to learn the fundamentals of music along with performance etiquette and how singing is used in worship for God’s glory. The choir meets most Sundays from 4:00 – 5:00 pm in the Chancel Choir room. Adult assistance is always welcome! Contact Suzanne at if you’d like to help.

Chancel Choir Director: Chris Leysath

The Chancel Choir is a volunteer group of singers whose ministry is music. They provide musical assistance and leadership in the worship of God in the Traditional Service at 11:00 AM each Sunday. They are dedicated to excellence in the worship experience and sing a variety of sacred music through the liturgical year as well as seasonal concerts. The Chancel Choir is a place where members can use their talents for the glory of God and enjoy the fellowship of other believers. The choir rehearses each Wednesday at 7PM in the choir room. All are welcome and invited to participate.

Chancel Bells Director: Chuck Deen

The handbell choir is an advanced group of musicians that participate in the Sanctuary worship on a regular basis. Music reading skills and a commitment to rehearsal time is required. The Chancel Bells are open to all adults interested and meets each Wednesday at 6:00 pm in the Chancel Bell room just off from the choir room.
Grace Ladies and Men of Grace
These ensembles are for vocalists who are interested in using their talents but aren’t able to make the commitment of weekly rehearsals. Each group rehearses periodically throughout the year and sings only a few Sundays during the 11:00 service around holidays and select occasions.
All musicians that would like to be involved with playing, accompanying, rehearsing, or just filling in here and there, are invited to do as little or as much as you would like. The music program always needs and is looking for a variety of instruments for special concerts, anthems, and programs. Please let us know If you are interested in participating in the music program. We will be thrilled to get you plugged in.

LifeSong Contemporary Service Praise Teams

At the contemporary LifeSong service here are Grace UMC, we have a great deal of opportunities for you to serve and use your talents of any level. We not only lead on Sundays but also spend time together as a team weekly in our Wednesday night Family Group time. Singing and playing for a congregation is not our goal. As a team we constantly seek the lifestyle of worship leaders and encourage each other through the peaks and valleys of life while leading others in worship. Whether you are on the front of the stage singing or in tech row running the lyrics we are all a unit that serves as one for the glory of God. On the music side of things, we are in constant need of vocalists, drummers, bass players, both acoustic and electric guitars, and keyboardists. Also, we can always use anyone on tech row to run sounds, lights, lyrics, or our livestream. If you are interested in being a part of our LifeSong family please contact our Director of Contemporary Worship or just show up for Family Groups one Wednesday night after our Wednesday night fellowship meal called WINGS.
