SUNDAY SCHOOL

Lessons guide us on our faith journey!
During the school year, five Youth classes meet:

Sixth grade Confirmation class
This class spends September through May studying the history and doctrines of the United Methodist Church. They participate in activities that encourage team building and personal growth in faith as they move toward the goal of making the commitment to join the church on Confirmation Sunday. The leaders are Suzanne Rudisill, Mark Phifer and Julie Hendrick. The Historian is Tita Fauerby.

Seventh/eighth grade class
Separate classes for boys and girls use interactive bible-based lessons with creative learning activities. The leaders for the girls are Jim & Linda Dollar, Cathy Moseley, and Helen Campbell. The leaders for the boys are Mike Outlaw and Will Barnes.

Senior Highs
Teams provide consistent presence and nurture as well as support for other teachers. The 9th/10th grade leaders are Joanne Watson and Linda Broome. The leaders for the 11th/12th grade are David & Cindy Parler, Wendall Mayson and Byron Neely.

During the summer months, there are two class assemblies: one for mid-highs and one for senior highs. A breakfast assembly is held on the second Sunday of each month for 9th-12th grades during the school year, and for all Youth during the summer. Breakfast team: Chef Forrest McKie, Kurt Bradley, Rick Hargrove.
